Title:  Bi-Lingual Therapist (Spanish Speaking)

Job Description:
Full-Time positions available for Therapists at D'veal Family and Youth
Services. We are a Community-based and school-based nonprofit provider of
Social and Mental Health services. Bilingual English and Spanish Therapists
sought to serve diverse population in Northwest Pasadena and/or greater Los
Angeles area(s). MSW, MFT or equivalent and BBS Registration required.
Prior experience with Department of Mental Health (DMH) documentation
standards, strongly preferred. Competitive salary with excellent benefits.
Specific Education, Certification and Skill Requirements:
Masters Degree required in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy or
related field. BBS Registration required. Must have and maintain a valid CA
drivers' license and automotive liability insurance.

Title: Tutor
Educational Requirements: College Student

Job Description:
Responsibilities include providing academic assistance to assigned tutees,
either in a group or individually and assisting students in achieving a better
understanding of specific subject material and in improving academic
capabilities in designated areas. May be designated to provide reading skills,
strategies and technology in the classroom and/or use various teaching
methods, lectures, and demonstrations to help students apply concepts in
mathematics.  Responsible for maintaining records of assigned students
including follow-up, periodic testing and assessment and Provide evaluations
and other reports as required and maintain student attendance and other logs
as required.  Help students develop the study skills necessary for academic
success.  Establish and maintain rapport with the assigned student(s) and
meet with parents to discuss student’s academic progress or personal issues.
Specific Education, Certification and Skill Requirements (if applicable):
College Student with a GPA of 3.0 or above; Excellent people skills,
enthusiasm for helping others and a respectful attitude; Ability to work
independently within a team; Prompt follow-up on details; Pro-active approach
to organizing, prioritizing, and managing multiple tasks; Proficient in reading
and / or math skills; Computer literacy;
